This was a rear view of Hanna when she first arrived at the new place. She and Shadow were both about 12 months pregenant during the move.
Moving the donkeys was the biggest challenge I faced. I could only take three or four at a time in the trailer and no one in the herd wanted to be separated. It was a test of wills to load them for the 200-mile trip. I moved them over four days and it was fun to see them when the next load arrived, you could tell how glad they were that they had been reunited. |
